Butterfly is a personal finance dashboard that allows you to view and manage your financial accounts, transactions, investments, and assets in one place. The Service integrates with third-party financial data providers to retrieve your account information.

Butterfly is a read-only dashboard. We do not initiate transactions, transfer funds, or make changes to your financial accounts.

3. Account Registration

• You must provide a valid email address and verify it to use the Service
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials

• Account balances and transactions may be delayed or differ from your institution's records
• The Service should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions
• Always verify important financial information directly with your institution

The Service integrates with third-party providers such as Plaid for financial data. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, code, and content, is owned by the Butterfly team.

8. Account Termination

• You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page
• Upon deletion, all your data is permanently removed from our systems
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• We may discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We are not a financial advisor and the Service does not constitute financial advice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Butterfly team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or financial losses arising from your use of the Service.
